Student Ministry:

The Student Ministry at Evergreen Baptist Church exists to help guide the journey of our youth and children towards a vital and lasting relationship with Jesus Christ. We seek to accomplish this by equipping our students and parents to, “contend for the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints” (Jude 1:3). We seek to understand this “faith” through evangelism, discipleship, worship, ministry and fellowship.

Bro. Peter

MFuge

FUGE is Gonna Leave a Mark from LifeWay Student on Vimeo.

Mfuge is another application of the "centrifuge" model, with M-Fuge, students and their leaders are mixed together in a large group for worship and fellowship, then spun out into small teams for Bible study and service projects to the community. M-Fuge follows the basic plan of a Centrifuge camp, but instead of pursuing their individual interests in track times, the campers give of themselves in personal ministry opportunities in the area. Projects may include construction work; childrens' ministry such as backyard Bible Clubs, recreation camps, or VBS; creative ministries; or social ministries. Students will find there are many ways to meet needs in the name of Christ. Find out more at MFuge.

CentriKid

CentriKid is a camp for 3rd–6th graders to experience the time of their lives and learn more about the message of Jesus Christ! From the future sports star to the young scientist to the rising chef, every kid gets to participate in exciting activities of their choice. Church groups bring kids to camp where they’ll take part in Bible study, recreation, track times, and worship. Camps are staffed by college and seminary students who can’t wait to hang out with your kids and love to share Christ through every aspect of camp! Find out more here.

Jesus is the central focus and figure of the Bible. The Bible predicts His coming thousands of years before His birth, tells of His life and ministry, recounts His death, details His burial, announces His triumphant resurrection, and shows the remarkable changes in the lives of His followers. Knowing Jesus is the beginning and the end of the Christian faith. Through this yearlong study, your student will come face to face with Jesus Christ, the Son of God.

Christ is made up of 48 lessons on the following topics:

• Old Testament prophecies about Him
• Events surrounding Jesus’ birth and young life
• Jesus’ ministry, including His miracles and parables
• Jesus’ interactions with various people
• Jesus’ death, burial, resurrection, and ascension
• Jesus’ coming return

Heart Connex Family eDevotionals
Introducing Heart Connex:
A Semi-Weekly Family e-Devotional from LifeWay Student Ministry.

Each week, parents receive two 20-minute Bible study devotionals via e-mail. These studies, authored by Dr. Richard Ross, contain solid Bible teaching presented in a warm, interactive format. In addition, the devotions are set up so that students and parents alike are involved, with each given specific things to say or do. A meaningful way to pray as a family is also included at the conclusion of each study.

Heart Connex devotionals are designed for very busy families. The head of the household can print the studies and make preparations in only about five minutes. In most cases families can complete the studies in 20 minutes.
