Senior Adult Ministry
Our Senior Adult Ministry is known as the "Golden Agers". Our Golden Agers meet at 10:30 a.m. on the second Thursday of each month for fellowship and great fun.
Family Counseling
We offer Christian counseling to anyone in our community. This ministry is offered because we understand the problems that many families encounter today. We want to help our families find the answers to these problems. Please call the church office for assistance.
Pre-school and Children
A well staffed nursery is provided for all our services. Sunday School classes are available for all pre-school and grade school children.
What is the Goal?
The goal for Across Alabama is to reach every home in Alabama with a gospel distribution, as well as an invitation to attend a local congregation for an evangelistic Easter service, on April 4, 2010.
In March we will participate in various ways. This is a special effort sponsored by our Alabama State Board of Missions to contact every home in Alabama. Three events will help us accomplish this mission. On Saturday March 20 we will have a “Prayer Walk.” We will ask members to meet at the church and walk down assigned streets and as you are walking you will pray for the residents on that street. For those who are not able to physically participate we will have prayer groups at the church to pray over our community. On Saturday March 27, we will have a “Scripture Distribution.” Members will meet at the church and go into the community and place packages on the doors in the community. On Easter Sunday April 4 we will celebrate “Harvest Sunday.” Through this effort we have an opportunity to touch every home in our community. This has the potential to change our community and county. If you have any questions please call me, but please come and help us reach our community for Jesus.
